New Year, New Creation Father of Creation,  Create in me a new heart for a new season; one that is diligent and bold--one that is ever increasing in compassion and mercy. Let your face be visiable in my eyes as I yeild my life to Your plan and Your design. You are the only Creator and your Word says that Your mercies are new every morning. As I begin this new season, teach me the art of merciful mornings and creative days. Let my evening be a reflection of the love you have offered me. In Jesus Glorious Name,  Amen     In the Fullness of Time Father of Mercy and Grace, Help me today to live beyond my own reason and logic. I want to step beyond the boundaries of "self" into the Kingdom where trust opens doors that I cannot see. I want to follow You by faith and not by sight. Enlarge Your Kingdom within me as I surrender my "self" and trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus Name, Amen.     Stepping up to the Plate Heavenly Father, Help me to navigate the changes ahead of me gracefully and with the right heart and the right attitude. Help me to see your plan for me, instead of my past or my doubts. I lean in to you for comfort and peace as I release what is behind and press toward the mark of your high calling. Teach me to gather and sow seeds of humilty, meekness, temperence, kindness, goodness, gentleness, mercy, and long suffering. Help me to abide in your presence always and follow your paths, no matter what changes they bring. In Jesus name, Amen.       Swine Flu Pandemic? I Don't Think So! Father, according to your Word, we are granted all authority over sickness and disease. As people all around us begin to feel uneasy and frightened by media reports of Swine Flu outbreak, help us to remember our place and our authority in your Kingdom. Your Word says that all things work together for good to those who love you and are called according to your purpose. In the midst of panic, let us walk in your divine grace and peace. Use our lips to establish calm and use our hands to deliver the sick and the afflicated. In Jesus name--the name above sickness and disease we give you thanks, honor and praise for delivering our nation. Amen.        "I want a kiss and a hug." Father, help me to remember that you are always waiting for me to turn my eyes and my thoughts toward you. Make me mindful of your presence in the small things that I might otherwise overlook today. I'm grateful for your breath, your intoxicating fragrance, your unending and unyielding love.     How to Diagnose a Heart Condition Father, help me to see the things in my own heart that surface as words that might hinder others from knowing you. Help me to remove the things of the world that you never intended to have rooted in my heart. Use my heart to grow in your ways and in your word. Let the abundance of my heart be your spirit alive in me. Let your living water flow freely in me so that it can flow also to those around me.  In Jesus name,  Amen.
